Reflection
- Total cash donation 1.13 million
- 30,000 people
living with HIV in Philadelphia
- Over 500,000
people living with HIV in the U.S. aren’t receiving medical care.
- 25 million have died of aids since 1981.
“The staff is almost overwhelmingly friendly and
helpful”
“this place is all Philly and it is all heart”
I
originally picked to volunteer at PAT for because I am interested in fashion,
and the ‘thrifting’ experience. I quickly learned to appreciate the store more vastly;
there are a plethora of the most interesting characters that come in and out of
the store, and seeing their enthusiasm embodies what Philly is to me.
